Dear Friend,

Will I see you next month at DMA Annual?

I ask because we’re putting together one of Epsilon’s most ambitious conference schedules ever, and I’m excited to show you how much we’ve made available there to help you improve the performance of your marketing programs.

Of course we’ll have a large booth, and as usual Epsilon speakers will be featured in a number of important sessions, but we’ve also arranged to make subject matter experts available throughout the conference, as well as books, papers, briefs and other resources—all free of charge. Please stop by our booth (#1301), say hello, and most important, bring us your questions.

Read on for more details. I look forward to seeing you in Chicago.

Best regards,

Michael Della Penna
Chief Marketing Officer

Ask the Experts—Epsilon’s DMA Program Provides Insight and Opportunity
We’re doing something different at this year’s DMA. We’re offering a series of complimentary, interactive "Ask the Experts" panel discussions about key marketing topics. You’re invited to come to any and all, sit in on the panels, and then talk one-on-one with our experts about your programs, your challenges, new tactics, emerging strategies…ask us anything.

While you’re visiting us, pick up a free copy of Seth Godin’s latest book, The Dip and Steve Cone’s Steal These Ideas: Marketing Secrets that Will Make You a Star. Plus we’ll have our most popular research studies, briefs, and whitepapers available.

Finally, don’t forget to sign up for our “Ask the Experts” giveaway. One lucky registered attendee will win a free Apple iPod Touch integrated media player at each of our five panel discussions.* Please visit our special DMA ’07 web site for complete details: www.epsilon.com/dma07.

Study: Reach Out ASAP to New Movers—Three Key Personas in Particular
Roughly 400,000 U.S. adults move every week, spending an average of $7,300 soon after. Are you getting their business? Epsilon and global research firm GfK North America recently surveyed 801 new movers to find out why they moved, what they bought as a result, who they bought from, and how they felt about their experiences.

Based on their reasons for relocating, three key new mover personas emerged as strong targets for marketers looking to preserve or build valuable customer relationships. But be warned: These consumers say that existing relationships exert little influence over whom they’ll buy from in their new communities—marketers that communicate first with these newcomers have a serious advantage, even over incumbent competitors.

Direct Marketers…Gone WILD!
Marketers from every corner of the industry have donated goods and services to support the DMA’s Direct Marketing Educational Foundation (DMEF) in its annual auction. Proceeds support the DMEF’s mission to attract top graduates to the direct marketing industry by continuously improving and expanding the teaching available to future marketers.

On the block is Steve Cone, Epsilon’s EVP of strategic marketing services and author of the highly praised Steal These Ideas. Donors will bid on the chance to have lunch with Steve and discuss brand strategy, review consumer marketing tactics, or compare their own experiences with one of the world’s legendary marketers.

Please visit the DMEF auction catalog to see the complete collection of items up for bid.
